Here are some general tips:
Prefer duplicating units to a nearby cell over jumping to a cell that’s further away (this way you get an extra piece by duplicating).
Avoid leaving gaps / hole in the midst of your units, or the enemy may jump into them and infect a bunch of your units.
Also it’s worth noting the enemy is programmed to make mistakes every now and then so it’s possible to win even when you’re not having a great round. Hope that helps.
