If you hold UP and then press GRAB, Peppino will shoot up into the air with an uppercut, breaking blocks and killing enemies on contact. Holding JUMP as you kill enemies with an uppercut will give you some additional height.
Uppercuts can be performed during a dash or in midair, at the cost of the uppercut not reaching as high as when done from a walking state. Doing an uppercut during a dash will also carry over some of your horizontal momentum.
