How to Pause the Game

It’s a bit of drag not being able to pause the game without incurring a penalty on your score. If you don’t mind taking a hit on your score, you can turn on the pause functionality when you first select a map to play, using the menu choices there.

Or, we can almost pause the game by slowing down the game’s speed in the options menu under “Controls”. You have only three choices, though: 100%, 75% and 50%.

It’s a good way to slow down the pace so we can get more done if we have a deadline looming. And we don’t take a hit on our score!
