  • Go back to the Queen and agree to help

Shevat Corridors

  • Take the elevator back to the map and take the other elevator back down
    • Maria will join you, she does not get any deathblows, but she has very strong magic attacks.
    • In this area, there are doll looking enemies that will throw saws at you and suck your EP to 0. They have about 5 or 6 HP and only take 1 dmg from physical attacks. They absorb elements but are weak to non-elemental Ether like Fei’s Guided Shot and Maria’s Robo Beam
  • Left to a map, go right and follow to the next intersection
  • Right to a chest, left to continue, use green crystal to get to SW elevator
  • You can use the map here, enter the first circle staircase connecting the blue to the black
  • Follow the black to the SW corner for the Economether which halves EP cost
  • Head to NW corner for elevator down, make your way to the next elevator below.
  • Enter the manhole by the save point and enter the west room for a scene
  • You’ll be transported back to the throne room and need to choose 4 Gears to protect the generators:
    • Generator 1: 6 humans + 2 Gears, need someone fast
    • Generator 2: 3 fairly weak Gears
    • Generator 3: 2 fast Gears and one giant that hits extremely hard, like 1500-3000
    • Generator 4: 2 fast Gears and one giant that hits hard and has high HP
  • After the 4 generators you’ll be put into 2 boss fights, they’re fairly easy:
    • Chu-Chu doesn’t get any deathblows, however her ether can heal HP for Gears, she’s the only one capable of that
    • Maria’s gets deathblows but loses her high magic ethers, but her Gear is one of the hardest hitters.
  • Afterwards, new Deathblows will be unlocked for everyone but Maria and Chu-Chu.
    • If you are level 59+ Everyone can learn these 4:
      • T+T+T+T+X Wind elemental
      • T+T+S+X Earth elemental
      • T+S+T+X Fire elemental
      • S+T+T+X Water elemental (Rico/Billy/and the last new
        • party member can’t learn)
      • These are the only deathblows I had a real hard time learning, especially the Fire one. Sometimes you can increase the percentage by doing them backwards, or spending a battle spamming a Ts or all Sqs.
    • Fei can learn 2 extra ones
      • Level 70+ S+S+X Light elemental
      • Level 80+ X+T+X Dark elemental
    • During the last battle you were given a Wizardry Ring, when equipped it increases the exp that deathblows get
  • Once you’re ready, head back down to the beginning of Shevat and down the small grey elevator to Yggdrasil
    • A good place to grind is the SE tip of the map, there are enemies called Croakers, frogs with spears. They do 0-1 damage, multiple in a battle, and have high HPs, allowing multiple deathblows in a battle.
  • Once ready, sail to Nisan, NW yellow square on the NE continent

Nisan

  • Upon entering, you can stand still until all the soldiers are finished attacking
    • If a scene doesn’t start after the last, one may have gotten caught on a corner.
  • Use the bridge to cross over out of town and to the NE corner where Margie is
  • Continue down to a scene, let Margie open it
  • Inside, take the elevator up.
  • Continue forward and take the left at the intersection and examine the monitors
  • Take the next door and head right to the next elevator
  • Take the left path and follow to the 3rd door leading to a chest with Deathblower 1, this gives one gear a new Attack Level 1 deathblow: T+X for 10 Fuel
  • Back to the hallway, go to the next door and enter the first door you see for another retina scanner
  • Back out and enter the door at the end of the hall.
  • Go into the center and follow S to a Gear
  • Examine the plate between its legs
  • Head back to the first room with the monitors
  • Make your way back to the Gear
  • On world map, head directly W on foot to the Ignas Gate Cave
  • Continue forward to a boss
  • After everything, head for the Tower of Babel
    • Make sure Maria is paired with Bart

Destroying Gates

  • Inside, fall down the first pit and exit the gears to the monitor room for a boss, both weak to Fire, don’t forget to boost
  • After, you’ll switch to Billy’s team for another boss, bird weak to Earth, lion weak to Water, don’t forget to boost, Bart can add elements to Maria’s attacks.
  • You’ll have to do both fights again
  • Go to Tamuz and speak to the captain
    • Can upgrade some gears on B1
  • Once ready, talk to Sigurd to automatically get taken to the next area
  • Go up and E twice and jump towards the light
  • Go back and keep head W and open the chests
  • Go back and head E to a Deathblower 2 and boss
    • Emeralda is now usable, the last party member. You’re given the opportunity to train her before Solaris. She’s also a great Ether attacker, so you may want to grab another Ether Doubler from Nisan. She also comes with most of her deathblows unlocked, so you only have to do the 3 elemental ones.
      • To get the Ether Doubler from Nisan, it’s technically unavailable. However, if you save inside the store and reset the console, when you reload they offer the old store menu.
  • It’s a one way trip, so when you’re ready, talk to Queen Zephyr

Solaris

  • Head to the left and enter the tube
  • To the left  to the 3rd green elevator to Samson
  • Go left 2 more elevators for Elly
  • Go back to Samson then to the soldier guarding the building to the right
  • Inside go past the first elevator and take the 2nd
  • Make your way to the SW corner, you can ignore the elevators to the exit
  • Continue forward, the building with 4 white doors contains armor and item shop
  • Go right to the revolving door. Take elevator up and enter left room to a woman in red to get tickets
  • Outside continue to the right to the black guard

Sewer Escape

  • In the sewer, just keep going forward. The enemies will come infinitly
  • After the first chest will be an area where a ladder isn’t available and you have to carefully walk along the pipes

First Class Residence

  • Once you’re out, go to the nearby gate to enter the house
  • Go downstairs and SW to Elly’s mother
  • Go into the NE room to find the maid with the gift
  • Go to the NW door and examine the computer
  • In next area, head back upstairs to go back to the watchtower
  • From the watchtower entrance head left past the green elevator to the blue square on the platform

Soylent System

  • Inside, examine the flashing green screen on the right
  • Leave the bedroom
  • Examine the green screen again
  • Jump up to the door and up the ladders
  • Push the piece of junk on the side into the fans to go down
  • Go up again and the laddrs
  • In this room try to fall to the top of the ladder in the hole and enter the door
  • Take the first left and the door at the bottom S wall
  • Go straight across the bridge to a door
    • Fill all squares to get a gold nugget
    • Fill no squares to get another
    • Fill squares to =0101, if a square is below, putting one on top cancels it to =0. Keep trying till you get the alarm turned off
  • Go back and run up the left conveyor belt and continue forward a few rooms till you’re up an elevator

Karellen’s Lab

  • There are a lot of chests in this area, but I thought they were almost all useless. By this point in the game I had an overabundance of money and 99 in most store bought items
  • Left door, last door in the hall, examine the monitor in the middle
  • Continue forward till you get to the intersections, go to the door around the right corner
  • Examine the monitor on the end to unlock the last door in the hall
  • Back at the beginning, go upstairs and open the barrier to the next door
  • Ignore the intersections and go straight until you get to a room with rotating mechanisms scanning Wels.
    • Go through the left door and open the cage, a chest inside contains the Deathblower 3
  • Go through the N door and continue to the T section.
  • Go E to the first intersection, inside being a Dark helm
    • The next intersection, inside a dark armor
  • Go back to the T section and go W to the door
    • Password: Up, Down, Up, Left, Right
  • Go right to any door to a ramp up
    • The first right intersection for a Sonic wave
  • Round the corner and enter the left door for holograms, good for some exposiion and an upgraded Speed ring
  • Continue forward and at the blackout take the first left
  • Continue forward till you get to a room with everyone
  • Continue forward, ignore the doors and go to the next room
  • Take a left at the intersection and through the door
  • Keep heading up till you hit a green room
  • Go left again, up, right, up, left
  • In this area, save, decide party and go up for a boss

Series of Multiple Events

  • Follow Torah to the next room, after the scene, head back inside to the first room
  • Exit the room for a boss
    • System ID allows strong deathblows without attack levels. It last for 3 turns, sadly they are still blockable. It costs 1000 fuel to use.
  • After more scenes will be another boss, you have no deathblows so just spam X
  • Choose team for next boss, absorbs all elements except Fei’s Yamikei
  • Choose party for the next dungeon

Anima Dungeon 1

  • The Repair Bot here sells Gear upgrades and Character armor upgrades.
    • Don’t upgrade Billy’s Gear, unless you’re using him and have a ton of spare money. As he is about to get his Omnigear soon.
    • Same for Rico, who gets his new gear in the next dungeon
  • Head N, before going inside, can go on foot around the building for some chests
  • Inside, go right, straight, into the room and examine the lower left corner box for a fuse
  • Go back to the last intersection and go left into the rooms to the sparking spot in the corner to use the fuse
  • Examine the monitor and go forward, take a left at the intersection to the end of the hall door
  • Examine top right monitor and enter 0-2-3-0
  • Examine the lower left monitor
  • Back in the hall, go up a little to the door on the right
  • Take the right door and examine the monitor
  • Go back to the center of the room and take the elevator down
  • Examine each monitor to set the code:
    • A – 2
    • B – 4
    • C – 8
    • D – 5
  • Then go to the grey and blue box next to the A terminal and release the lock
  • Take the elevator down and enter the room till you can examine a monitor for a boss
    • Cherubina is weak to Fire T+S+T+X
    • Seraphita is weak to Water S+T+T+X
    • Dominia is weak to Wind T+T+T+T+X
    • Throne is weak to Earth T+T+S+X
  • Afterwards will be another boss in gears, this boss absorbs all elements, watch out for their desperation attack when they hit 0 HP.

Anima Dungeon 2

  • Push the rock near the save point to the right towards the cliff to reveal the entrance
  • Inside, examine the NE wall for step directions. This is considered the hardest puzzle in the game, you need to line up so that you go down far enough to walk W just underneath the middle pillar and to the black streak on the W wall. I had to do this multiple times before finally getting it.
    • Examine the back of the left pillar
    • Jump on top of the fallen rock to get to the top of the middle pillar. Once on top, jump straight up.
    • Move all the stones into the holes.
  • Back outside, use your gears to get across
  • In the next room, exit the gears to go around to the door
    • Inside, go straight to the next room, walk along the wall to get the chests and to the end.
    • Examine the pillar and walk do the middle to fall into he closest pit. As you fall hold a direction button towards E to a secret entrance
  • In the next room, jump across and don’t move as the ceiling falls
    • Climb on top of the ceiling to a new doorway
  • In this room, step on the right switch and drain all the water.
    • On the right wall, examine to change to 7
    • Step on the left switch to refill
    • On the left wall, examine to change to 3
    • Step on the right switch twice
    • Examine right wall to 7 again
    • Step on left switch
    • Examine left wall to 3 again
    • Step on right switch
  • Take the door back outside, return to the gears and head down to the new door
    • Before going forward, you may want to bring 3 physical attacking gears as this boss has extremely high Ether Defense. Aerods will even do 0.
    • If you have been using Elly, you’re going to want to remove all of her equipment and Gear equipment now.
    • You may also want to save before this boss, it can drop an item called Trader Card that can be used to get rare items from enemies. This is mostly used to get Speed Shoes later, which is like boost on Gears but not expending any fuel.
  • Continue forward to the boss, he has 40,000 HP and will start to self-destruct when down to about 28,000. You can technically escape before he blows up but you won’t get the drop then.
  • Back on Yggdrasil, head downstairs to the first room

Machanon

  • Choose your team and exit for a boss
    • Don’t do anything and let the boss continue to hurt himself as he halves everyones HP. Once low enough, try to kill in 1 hit. Don’t worry, you’ll be fully healed after
  • Once defeated, you’ll go to another boss. You can try to win but you’re allowed to lose this fight

Merkabah

  • Head E first into the door way to Johnny for any upgrades or items. Coming up will be a boss that will immediately use a skill that reduces all of your HPs to 1. You will not heal between this and the next fight so be careful.
    • May be a good idea to bring Emeralda, her Wind Ether magic will hit pretty hard.
    • Do not invest in HP 70 or 90. They sound good but will suck up the majority of your fuel.
  • Head back and go N for a boss, he is the one who can reduce your HP to 1
  • Afterwards, you will be thrown into another boss. She’s considered one of the hardest in the game, honestly it’s mostly because it’s back to back with the last. I was able to kill her pretty fast with 4 of Emeralda’s Ethers before having to heal.
    • Wave #4 deal damage to you based on how much damage you’ve done to her
  • After a very long scene will be another boss
  • After more scenes will be another boss

Crashed Shevat

  • Outside the room, a woman near a grey desk can sell strong Gear upgrades
    • Next to her is a waitress who will sell Picotiles for 20,000G, the small birds next to her
    • Between these 2 will also be a door that leads to a man who will upgrade Citan’s Kishin Gear Sword if you have it unequipped
    • Take the grey elevator up and examine all the tables and cases for items
  • Take the nearby door and follow straight up to a room with Dan and Midori
  • Back one room, go left up the slope past the man with the telescope to outside. Climb up to Zephyr
  • Go back to the room where you started and take the door next to it and between the two women to go to the world map
  • Enter the Yggdrasil and talk to Margie
  • Go to the Gear hanger to find Chu Chu, go behind her and talk to the man to ask for the “lowdown”
    • You can technically go to the final dungeon now, but it’ll be easier if you hold off a little bit

Torah’s Home and Speed Shoes

  • It’s the 2nd yellow square up from the SE corner of the map
  • Inside you can talk to Torah for 2 very nice armors
  • On the world map you can run around the forest area looking for the Slug enemies to get the boots.
    • Sadly, the game knows why you’re here, so they only show up in groups of 1 now.
  • Once you have the shoes you want, you can go to Duneman Island, right in the middle of the map

Duneman Island

  • Here you can grind against Dragons to quickly gain anymore levels you need. They absorb all elements except Fei’s Yamikei. They hit very hard, ether dmg against the entire party
    • The dragon also drops a very good sword for Citan, Mumyo Sword
    • They can also drop a good weapon for Bart, Death Adder
    • They seem to be a pretty rare encounter
  • Head E 3 times and N once for a scene
    • You can go N for a sword in the back of the fossil if you want, it’s weaker than the one dropped by the dragons
  • In the area you saw the scene, head W following them
  • Try to make your way to either chest, left has a good armor, the other a gun for Billy
    • The easiest way to get to Billy’s is hold right and repeatedly jump to get across the boulders to it

Lighthouse and Emeralda

  • First, add Emeralda to your party
  • To find the lighthouse, its SW of the Duneman Island, almost directly south of the nearby yellow square on the map
  • Inside and down the elevator, head E until Fei stops you, exit your gear and head N into he building,
    • 2nd floor for a deathblower 1
  • Back outside, continue E to the 2nd building, inside will be Big Joe’s gear shop
    • There are amazing upgrades here, but the attack upgrades come with a heavy penlty of very low fuel. If you’re willing to invest in Z Chargers it could be worth it. As well as GNRS50 which increases gears attack by another 50% and stacks!
    • If you’re planning to bring Emeralda to the final dungeon, definitely invest in this
    • So a good setup I stuck with was
      • Fei and Citan
        • Omega100
        • Deathblower 1
        • Z Charger
        • GNRS50
      • Both had 1600+ Attack and could deal 6000+ with just a T hit
      • They won’t be able to heal in battle anymore, but you can equip an HP# outside of battle and use it from the menu to heal and reequip and item.
  • In the building straight across, you can enter for a Gear weapon for Billy, the ammo is only sold by Big Joe
    • At the nearby intersection, enter it and the building Fei stops you at
    • Upstairs check the monitor for a scene
    • Outside, continue down and around for Deathblower 2 and 3
  • Head all the way E and check the SW corner to find a manhole to go down
  • Continue forward till you see some scenes and Emeralda gets a stat boost in the process
  • Leave the lighthouse and head back to the crashed Shevat
  • Enter the room near the bar on the right and go down to an old woman who will take the Mermaid’s Tear from the beginning of the game and make a ring for Emeralda.

Deus

  • Head to the W yellow square towards the middle of the screen
    • Emeralda makes this dungeon extremely easy with her Ether, almost every random encounter is weak to Wind Damage, and with Ether Doubler, she one shots almost everything
  • Head inside and go N, NE, N, NE up the ramp
  • Now go SE, NE, N to the next area.
  • Jump off the pillar, take the elevator nearby down
  • S and circle around to up to the next elevator
  • SE and jump twice to the top of the pillar
  • Examine it for a bridge to move. Jump back down to the elevator
  • Head E to another elevator
  • Head N to another elevator
  • NE and jump up the pillar to a light switch
  • SE elevator, S elevator, W elevator
  • NW, SW, SE to another area
  • S, E, N for a chest, S to a crossroad
  • SW, S to another area
  • SW to an elevator, E and jump up the pillar for a switch
  • Go W, Down, SW, Up, and S, Down, and W into the door
  • NW, N, NE, SE down the elevator
  • E, jump the gate, E to find Jonny
  • Save, fuel up, make sure every character is properly equipped and upgraded.
  • Head N multiple screens and jump for a multiple bosses and the final boss
    • You don’t technically after to switch your party around, but you’re able to between each boss to conserve HP and Fuel
    • You can’t use deathblows in any of the fights, thankfully they all take heavy damage from Emeralda’s Ethers.
    • I took Emeralda and Chu-Chu to try and mitigate fuel usage for damage and healing. Since Chu Chu can heal Gears, in case you haven’t been using her.
  • Boss 1: Harlute, only allows one Gear to attack the entire fight
  • Boss 2: Sundel, will designate the first attacker as it’s sole target for counters
  • Boss 3: Metatron, strong hitting ether to whole party
  • Boss 4: Marlut, steals fuel and uses heavy Ether attacks on party
  • Boss 5: Deus, continue attacking as fast as you can till a scene occurs. It counters after every attack. This one is much easier if the other 4 were defeated first.
    • Go all out with Fei, you will be fully healed before the final boss
  • After the scenes will be the final boss who is surprisingly very easy

Being a big gaming fan, I believe that I have a lot to share with other gamers. I got my first official job in the game industry in 2005 and continue to develop there. It's a true blessing when your passion, hobby, and job combine into something one. My favorite console is the Nintendo Switch. I think you can all guess why. Because I just bought a Steam Deck. I love playing on PC, but my main love for me will always be Xbox. Anyway, it's complicated and simple at the same time. After all, I'm back in the days of the ZX Spectrum (1994)…
