Total Battle – In-Game Resources Guide

Building Resources

There are three types of building resources in the game: Lumber, Iron, and Stone. They are used to build and upgrade structures in your City and can also be used to construct Clan defenses and processing structures. The latter allow building resources to be converted into Clan resources.

Build and upgrade Lumberjacks’ Houses, Foundries, and Stonecutters’ Houses in order to increase the production of Clan resources. You can also gather resources on the Kingdom Map or obtain them from Clan gift chests or chests that can be purchased in the game’s shop. Finally, players can exchange resources with one another using Caravans.

Silver

Silver is one of the most important currencies in the Kingdom. It can be converted into Scientific Tractates by Clan Universities and is also used to kick out unwanted players from a Clan’s territory. In addition, Silver can be used to train troops and purchase mercenaries during the “Trade Routes” tournament. Finally, Silver can be used to revive troops.

Build and upgrade Mansions in order to produce more of this resource. You can also gather resources on the Kingdom Map or obtain them from Clan gift chests or chests that can be purchased in the game’s shop. Finally, players can exchange resources with one another if they have built the Caravan.

Dragon Coins

Dragon Coins are used to train special monster troops.

Reach the top 100 in global or mini tournaments to earn more Dragon Coins. You can also buy them as part of special offers in the game shop.

Dragon Coins that you win in tournaments are considered a Clan resource and are sent directly to your Clan Capital instead of your City, with a possible delay of a few days.

You will be able to see the history of your Clan’s accumulation of Dragon Coins in the History section of the Clan Capital (use the “Dragon Coins” filter instead of “All resources”; it is also possible to view the history for a particular player by switching the “All players” filter to a particular Clan member). Please contact your Clan Leader or a Superior to get them to distribute your Coins.

If your Clan hasn’t yet built a Capital when you reach the top 100 in an event or tournament, then the Dragon Coins will be credited to the Capital once it has been built. If you are not in a Clan when you reach the top 100 in an event or tournament, the Dragon Coins will be added to the Capital of the next Clan you join. If the Clan that you join hasn’t yet built a Capital, the Dragon Coins will be credited once your Clan has built one. The same applies to a Clan that you create.

Please note that if you purchase Dragon Coins as part of game offers, they will be credited neither to your Clan Capital nor directly to your available resources. Instead, they will be added to the Miscellaneous section of your Warehouse as chests that you can open manually.

Food

Much like Silver, Food is one of the most important resources in the game for strengthening your defenses. Food is used to train certain troops and to maintain your army. It can also be converted into Religious Tractates in Clan Temples. Finally, Food can be used to charge a Clan Capital’s Shield of Peace.

Build and upgrade Farmers’ Houses in order to increase production of this resource. You can also gather resources on the Kingdom Map or obtain them from Clan gift chests or chests that can be purchased in the game’s shop. Finally, players can exchange resources with one another if they have built the Caravan.

All troops in your City (with the exception of allied reinforcements) consume food. Please note that if the amount of Food being produced is lower than your army upkeep cost, then your Food counter will turn red, and your City will receive the Food Deficit debuff, which increases the cost of training troops. The greater the deficit, the greater the cost increase. If the amount of Food in your City reaches zero, your City will receive the Famine debuff, which decreases your army’s strength and health by 25%.

Gold

Gold is the most important currency in the Kingdom. It can be used to purchase various items and bonuses, as well as to revive troops in the Temple.

You can collect Gold from Dragon Mounds or Golden Mountains (if your Kingdom wins the Clash of Kingdoms). You can also earn it by accomplishing and claiming specific achievements or obtain it as a bonus from a player who has access to the Royal Treasury. The Triumphal Challenge and other seasonal battle passes may also grant Gold as a reward for upgrading the level of your battle pass.

Tip: You can win Gold by participating in our community events or by claiming daily Free Sales. You can also purchase Gold as part of packages.

Rage Potions

Rage Potions are a resource that is required in order for the player’s main character to visit arenas.

The rate at which Rage Potions are produced depends on the level of the Tar Workshop in your City.

Gold Ingots

Gold Ingots can be used by the King, the Hand of the King, or the Queen to purchase special bonuses in the Treasury that grant unique effects or rewards either to a single player or to all players within a Kingdom. The full list of bonuses that can be purchased using Gold Ingots can be viewed in the Treasury.

Gold Ingots are produced by your City’s Capitol. The higher the level of the Capitol, the more Ingots you’ll be able to produce in an hour. Level up your City’s Capitol in order to get more Ingots. You can also attack enemy players and steal their Gold Ingots if your attack is successful. Finally, if you reach the top 100 in the Clash of Kingdoms, you’ll get at least 300K Gold Ingots.

Once you have at least one Ingot available, you can send it to your Kingdom’s Treasury. To do so, click on your Capitol and then select Taxes. Next, select the number of Ingots you’d like to send and hit Pay Taxes.

Master Coins

Master Coins, instead of Silver, are required to craft unique- and tournament-category equipment.

The only way to obtain Master Coins is by defeating Cursed Citadels on the Kingdom Map.

Tip: Use the Watchtower to locate a Cursed Citadel.

Great Architect’s Blueprints

Great Architect’s Blueprints are used to upgrade buildings in your City and construct Mines on the Kingdom Map. This resource is required for building upgrades at every fifth upgrade level. Also, the cost of constructing resource Mines increases with your Capitol level.

Great Architect’s Blueprints are a rare resource that can only be obtained by completing daily quests. You can also purchase blueprints using Gold or obtain them as part of specialized packages.

Rare Flickering Dust

This is a unique resource that is used to craft gems for your equipment.

The only way to get rare Flickering Dust is by disenchanting gems that you already have available. You can then use the Dust to craft the gem you need from the Craft menu of the Forge’s Workshop.

Sacred Potions

This resource can be used instead of Gold to revive your troops. Your Temple produces Sacred Potions constantly until it’s at capacity. Your maximum capacity of Sacred Potions is also determined by your Temple.

The cap can only be increased by obtaining the Nectarius avatar, while the speed at which Sacred Potions are produced can also be increased by researching the relevant technologies. You can also get Sacred Potions in Clan chests, packages, or as rewards for reaching new battle pass levels in the Triumphal Challenge.

Sacred Potions benefit from the Temple’s troop revival cost reduction in the same way as Gold.

Common, Rare and Epic Tar

Common Tar is used to explore common Crypts. Your Tar Workshop produces this resource constantly until it’s at capacity. Your maximum capacity of Tar is also determined by your Tar Workshop. The cap can be increased by researching technologies and leveling up your Hero’s talents. You can also get common Tar from packages and Clan chests, purchase it using Gold, or obtain it as a reward for reaching new battle pass levels in the Triumphal Challenge.

Rare Tar is used to explore rare Crypts. Rare Tar is harder to come by than common Tar, as this resource cannot be produced in your City. You can get more rare Tar by purchasing it using Gold or finding it in packages. You can also win rare Tar by placing in the top 100 in most regular events and global tournaments or obtain it as a reward for reaching new battle pass levels in the Triumphal Challenge.

Epic Tar is used to explore epic Crypts. Much like rare Tar, this scarce resource can be purchased using Gold or found in packages. You can also win it by placing in the top 100 in most regular events and global tournaments or obtain it as a reward for reaching new battle pass levels in the Triumphal Challenge.

Being a big gaming fan, I believe that I have a lot to share with other gamers. I got my first official job in the game industry in 2005 and continue to develop there. It's a true blessing when your passion, hobby, and job combine into something one. My favorite console is the Nintendo Switch. I think you can all guess why. Because I just bought a Steam Deck. I love playing on PC, but my main love for me will always be Xbox. Anyway, it's complicated and simple at the same time. After all, I'm back in the days of the ZX Spectrum (1994)…
